Took this last week whilst out. Figured it looked pretty cool and hollywood like.

So I\'ve received nothing from my ex-client for this court case. Basically we both had to submit copies of our evidence and experts reports to the court and each other. Nothing\'s come through and it\'s 2 days after the deadline now. Which leaves me wondering a couple of things.

1. Does he honestly think he can walk in to the hearing, no evidence, no documents to refer to and win?

2. Does he know he\'s in the wrong and is just going to let this run it\'s course and pay up when told to?

3. Does he know that legally the judge can\'t force him to pay me and so thinks even if he\'s ruled against he still will get away with not paying (of course I can employ methods legally to retrieve the money).

4. Has he not read the forms properly and just sent his copies to the court and not me?

It\'s on my mind and it\'s not going. These next four weeks are going to be hard.

Had a call today from a client who's had two reminders about his unpaid invoices and a note to mention that the domain names due for renewal couldn't be bought until the invoice was paid for. He's had plenty of time to pay them and it was only a gentle reminder.

Anyhow the call went along the lines of "Sarah, please tell your accounts to stop hassling me over these invoices. I always pay my invoices quickly and I'm currently on holiday and do not appreciate being hassled like this. I'm back on Monday and I'll deal with it then" or something a little more but which escapes me now. Anyway, I spoke to him a week and a half ago and he wasn't on holiday then, so he's obviously just gone away for a week, so why didn't he either a: pay before he left or b: sent an email reply to the email sent last week saying he was away and would pay on return.

This is the last straw with this particular person. I'm tired of being spoken to like a child, having things demanded of me etc. so I'm refusing to talk or meet with him any more. He can send work through and it will be done but I will not take any more of his phone calls. He's no longer my biggest client, nor does he bring in as much money as he used to. I'm finally in the position where I can get rid of the 99% hassle clients who are just rude and disrespectful.

Of course the worry and concern over my court hearing next month (27 days) isn't helping. I know I can't do anything about it but I'm still slightly scared. The outcome isn't the major worry, it's the actual hearing.

All document evidence has been posted to the court so what more can I do except sit and wait for the 24th August when I go to the Hearing in London.

I have none today. I\'ve fixed one site and written about 5 lines of code on the main one that I\'m doing at the moment. I\'ve stuffed myself with junk food and then not moved all afternoon whilst watching Sex and the City and reading Cosmopolitan. Oh and then wasted 2 hours playing Sudoku.

A very productive day.
