Travelling is Cut
Mon, 21 November, 2005 – 5:50 pm
It's come quicker than I expected but today my friend Jane called and said my Boss was happy for me to sit at home and work instead of travelling back to Cardiff every week and going in there 20 hours a week. Am so happy as I didn't want to leave Dave anyhow. This is great, it means I can stay in one place, the place I'm far more comfortable in, get more of a routine with work, and hopefully clear a lot more out the way ready for new projects and ideas!
So after all that, the Linux laptop is not needed any more (I'll learn it one day but not right now!), and my bank balance is exceptionally glad that I didn't buy a little diddy laptop for travel! Whilst I still like them and would like a nice plasma screen laptop for the time being I'm going to start saving! I'm buying a new digial camera next week, a Nikon Coolpix 7900, as Jane is off to New York this weekend and is buying it for me (£100 different between Amazon and Amazon UK!!). My parents however are paying for part of it as a christmas present for me (aren't they good to me!). Anyhow, that's my expensive buy of the year and along with Dave and my's trip to Dublin (10 days to go!) I can't afford much more, especially £30 a week in train fares! So I'm paying rent up until the end of the year to help my friend/landlady out until she finds someone else to live there and come January I'll be officially living with Dave, Paul, 4 laptops, 3 PCs and an Apple Mac! Our very own design agency will begin
Suddenly this year has really started to turn around

Excelllent news matey, a design agency eh? Cool! Is that actually going to happen? Would be cool if it did

Hi Sarah
Oooh, the Nikon digital camera looks very special. You'll have to let us know what you think of it. I'm looking for a new digicam at the moment but having trouble deciding which one to go for this time.
Good luck with all the exciting new stuff happening
