A hectic few days due to business and my computer have stopped me from posting. I spent Thursday in London with 3 meetings, all being fairly productive including a business lunch including caviar and some very niche quiche/tartlet thingies! Still I've now got even more work to plan for but am happy with that. Also a fourth meeting on Friday has the potential for further work with a liason client (ie. they source the work to me for their clients). But I've heard that often before from them so I won't hold my breath on that one just now.

I'm off to Cardiff on Monday for a couple of days. I have to catch up with some work, meet to discuss various issues and new sites that are being set up along with the implementation of web admin with their software, oh and of course to have a night on the town on Tuesday night (anyone near Cardiff I'll be in Bar Is It, opposite Howells!).

I finally heard from Amazon over my wireless keyboard – apparently they couldn't confirm that they could replace my US keyboard with a UK one!! So I have to return it and get a refund. I'm a little unhappy but considering I use a laptop it's not a life or death situation. I'm actually thinking about now upgrading my RAM instead as I've found that at £76 for 2*512mb sticks from Crucial Memory.

And lastly my computer is dying slowly. First my Acrobat distiller (used for making PDFs from Word etc) has stopped working, then my Omea Reader kept returning 403 server errors, but I think my Spybot Tea Timer stopped a setting being written to the registry which is the cause. And now my wireless card has stopped working – which I think I did cleaning up the PC yesterday! So I've got to spent tomorrow backing it up, formatting and reinstalling what I need in time for Monday :(
