February Earnings

1st March – St David's Day. Some February figures for anyone who's interested

Adsense: $75.99
Affiliate Earnings: $25.52 + £4

My adsense is $1.01 up on January's final figure which I'm happy with considering there are 3 less days. The Swish World site continues to pull in the most money however my Diet blog is also beginning to increase with visitors and subsequently earn it's way. I realise dieting is a big business and can pull in high paying adsense so I'm hoping to start making a tidy sum on the site. Of course this is dependent on me dieting! Which I'll be getting back to once my health has settled back down.

My osCommerce site finally had it's first sale of an eBook. I've not done much with the site I'll admit that. I've not had time for much since Christmas and it doesn't look like I'll get much time for a while yet due to the amount of work I have on right now. I have started on another site but this is being set up manually due to the nature so is just being done as and when I have time.

However from the work point of view, well it's almost the end of the tax year and the estimated figures are in. I've increased my turnover by 40% this year, and considering I believed I made what could be considered a fulltime wage last year I'm very happy with this figure. Of course next years tax bill is gonna be a concern however!

  1. Some good results there!

I'd recommend making sure that your diet blog is getting some regular new content from yourself. Dieting will be one of those seasonal searches. And with the warmer weather coming up in the western hemisphere…

  2. Another good way to help prevent spam is from the source. I've got a simple script at http://www.hidemyemail.ca which is designed to javascript and hide an address that going to be placed online. Works great!!! I've been spam free for years using the code. I used to use http://www.corbysimpson.com/encrypt.asp but it was OVERKILL!
