What a beautiful day so far today. We're down at my parents for the easter weekend. My mum and I opted for a day of shopping together at Milton Keynes. And compared to last week where I bought virtually nothing, this week I bought plenty. Some shorts, vests and tops for our holiday in less than 3 weeks, a couple of thin jumpers, a very nice black zipped jumper from Next, a Wireless Notebook Mouse, a laptop riser and a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Yes I've splurged, it's been a while since I had a really good shop. I've been suffering from a bad neck recently as my current 'office' set up is a naff old office chair, a laptop keyboard (which are not designed for prolonged use really), and the laptop itself which is not high enough for me. So I'm trying to correct it all with the laptop riser, to bring the screen up more in line with my line of sight and the keyboard to protect my wrists more (plus it's slightly more ergonomic so more comfortable to me too). I've also been trying out new office chairs in Staples today and found a very comfortable one that will give great support to my back except it's in a horrible bright blue colour! So I'll be taking a trip to my local Staples to see what else they have to offer, especially as they will deliver for free (handy when you only have a diddy smart car!).

The notebook mouse will come in handy as there are no wires at all, so easy to store in my laptop bag and to take on journeys, plus it will sit by the bed for use when I sit in bed with the laptop. I'm not comfortable using my touchpad and my mouse stick tends to well stick at times and the arrow has a mind of it's own! I only tend to sit and read off my various feeds or web sites when in bed so it won't be used much but it looks very dinky and cute!
