I've been watching a great domain on Nominet that's been suspended, for the past month. I had the WhoIS Query bookmarked and daily I would go to see if it was still suspended or available. I know you can buy domain watchers from places like 123-reg however I tried that once on the .com of my business and when it became available the 'watcher' didn't register it as 123-reg thought it wasn't available, so I registered it at Easily instead. So this time I didn't bother wasting £15 on a domain watcher that may or may not work.nnAnyhow, I'd read elsewhere that it was 99 days from the renewal date to the day it's available for others to buy, 99 days was yesterday and for the first day in a while I forgot to check. Now it's been registered by someone else. Okay so it's my own fault, however this other person has now registered it and put it straight on Sedo Parking, which is a site where people can park their unused domains an earn money off them through Google Adsense.nnMoral of the story? Either watch it like a hawk or buy a domain watcher!nnLuckily I can get a similar (but not as good) domain that should still do the job for the site I was intending to build for it.

Forget about registering a domain this way, especially if the name is any good.nnThere is an active business going on which make money off expired domain.
Well I figured the domain wasn't that good, considering a shorter version of it was available. I was more annoyed with myself as the one day I forgot to check it (and may possibly have gotten it if the timing was right) was the day it was available!nnAs already mentioned, domain watchers and I don't go together otherwise how can a name be available but a domain watcher not buy it for you?!
