I created a Betfair account a few weeks ago for someone who needed a couple of signups to get a free xbox. I only put £10 into the account and proceeded to lose £6 on the horses as I didn't have a clue about the site or horse racing! However I decided to take the last £3 or so and put it on England to beat Paraguay in the World Cup. Well I won on that (as I'm sure you're away of the score), and won £2, then gambling fever hit! In total I'd made back just over £5 yesterday, and right now I'm on course for another £5 if Holland win their match.

To be honest I don't know much about the teams as I've not paid much attention to football for a fair few years, so I have Dave telling me who to bet on, and then during the match I hover over the submit bet button until the odds are worthwhile. Of course if it nears the end as a draw I keep a little back to bet on a draw if I need to.

It's like monopoly but with a lot less money! I'll be looking up gamblers anonymous soon
