After the success of last weeks online grocery shop I decided last night to do enough shopping for 2 weeks which would then mean we could just pop out to pick up the fruit and salad/veg we wanted. So again, a quick run over the site, made much easier as I could reorder stuff that I'd already ordered last week which cut my searching down. I then took a 'wander' through the special offers and finest foods, picked up a couple of extra bits totalling £90 for the lot – a major improvement on our usual £100+ per week shops, and the bonus was that we could have it delivered today for a pound less than on Friday!

So today it came, and unfortunately they missed out one item – Dave's Tiger beer. But one quick phone call later and they refunded the missing item for us. So I'm still impressed with Tesco. We'll probably try out Sainsburys at some point just to see how well they fare or perhaps to get some different foods, but overall this home delivery lark is so time saving and definitely the way to save on spending!
