It's that time of the month, August is here, apparently going to be hotter than July was (so why is it raining and I was shivering last night in bed?!!). The cooler air is definitely welcomed. The heat has just stopped me from wanting to work and so I've not got that much done this month at all.nnAnyhow some figures…nnPPC – $135.32nAffiliate – $126.10nnTotal – $261.42nPer Day – $8.43nnNo product sales this month, however I've still not sorted out the product selling site! Affiliate income is well on the up. This however is just a freak occurrence with a couple of good sales and also getting paid for a couple of signups (which is the easiest money ever earnt!!). PPC was also on the up this month. My one page adsenser had a few clicks (still very little traffic on that), I got an RSSGM site up which has made around $8 this month with just one link from another site of ours. Also I rejigged the adsense on the single post pages on my DietSpot blog, going from a single ad at the top to a 4 ad unit below the post and above the comments. Before the change clicks were virtually nonexistent (since I'd changed previously), after the change I've had a handful of clicks on a daily basis so I'm quite happy with that. I've also acquired a couple of other AIS sites which I want to minimise down to a decent size and optimise to get the visitors back up into double figures at least. I've made a bit of a start on one but my own work is still lingering (and I've had requests for 2 new sites this past week!).nnI also wrote about the AdWords voucher I'd got from 123 Reg this month. I honestly can't say if my various campaigns made any money whatsoever now! The day after I started the campaigns, I had a Click Bank sale of $15.46 which I'm guessing was Product A. However Product A has a free 7 day trial so I actually think this may have been from another link I have going to the same product from a website! I did run a campaign to test on adsense arbitrage, I gave up after a day as it didn't seem to make much difference. So I don't think playing with Adwords is for me. Whilst I was bidding on subjects that were only costing a few pence per click, the money has still all gone just over a week later (yes one was a popular subject!). However the information from the impressions is possibly far more valuable in the long run as I now have realtime up to date data on a few subjects that I have websites for, and I can use that to my advantage!nnSo what does August bring? Well I want to get these 2 new sites optimised and pulling in visitors again. I also have my single page adsenser which could produce good money if it had the visitors so I need to get some visitors into that one too. And I also want to get this shopping cart sorted for our product site!! Yes I've been saying it for months and it's honestly not down to laziness but business. Our weekends for the past month have involved either people visiting or us going somewhere else so hopefully in August it will be quieter and I can sit down and finally spend some weekends working.nnSome side notes on posts I'd made in the month – there was yet again a surge in Adsense, but not in visitors this month. The first 3 weeks of the month saw an average of $2.70 a day, from the 23rd of July on this increased to over $4 a day. This is just on one site and doesn't include clicks off any other sites on the account. So it will be interesting today to see if we can reach the $4 average that we've been seeing this past week or whether it will drop again.nnAlso I updated the bank totals on the left as we had a couple of payments this month, taking us over the $1000 mark for earnings (that's real earnings in the bank, not digital on your account!).nnAll in all I'm very happy with the month. I've hit and surpassed my target of $7.50 a day. Next month's target is to reach the same money as I know this was possibly a one off at present, so if we can hit the same amount I'll be happy :)

Thanks :) Can't see me reaching the same target this month, although it's been a reasonably good month, however I think I'll be back to my average.
