What I've been up to

You may (or may not) be wondering what I've been up to. Well yesterday afternoon started with the plan to upgrade all of my WordPress blogs due to a few high profile blogs being hacked. I'm usually on the ball with upgrades but client sites are done first followed by my own when I have a chance. I'd also been thinking about whether to re-combine my personal posts with this blog as to be honest, some of those personal posts are tech or business orientated, plus I think I've been a bit slow on my posting for a fair few months, mainly due to working so much and just worn out by the end each day.
Anyhow, so I've imported all of my personal posts using Aaron Brazell's WordPress Importer which is a hacked plugin from a feature due in WordPress 2.1 (clearly I wasn't the only one wanting to do it!). It was pretty easy to use and just took about 3 goes to get all the posts imported (3 goes merely due to script timeouts).
I've also tidied a few things up around here. The categories have been combined in a better way (I hope!), I've removed some dead links, and I've added a MyBlogLog Widget to show you who's reading the site.
I don't tend to do many personal posts so hopefully it won't put anyone off who comes here merely for the tech postings
