I'm not usually one for simply just linking to others posts, well not the top industry bloggers, however this just caught my eye and figured it was worth the link through – JenSense reports about Google cancelling AdSense accounts. There's no official word apparently, however so far it appears that it's mainly affecting MFA sites and those doing a bit of arbitrage work.nnWe've not had anything through yet, and to be fair our AdSense is used on a variety of sites, however there's still a thought. Of course this reconfirms the 'don't rely solely on AdSense' which we don't. But it would be a blow to lose.nnSo anyone had an email yet?

This teaches a lesson. Never be Dependant on a single source of income, especially if its Adsense. I did this mistake and my account was deactivated. For 6 months I was unable to get a single pay check from any company. Now I have income from 6 sources and thank Google for deactivating my account, because I didn't know how much more money is out there. I was just focusing on Adsense, and that is what most Webmasters do.

I didn't lose my AdSense account however I had the site deindexed that was making the $100 a month in it which was almost just as bad. However I did watch my housemate have his account suspended for a week, and during that time my research to help him made me realise how you do need to look at other streams too. Luckily there are so many PPC programs out there now you can easily swap one for the other. Okay, AdSense is probably the best earning but it's all better than nothing.nnThere are plenty of other opportunities and money making methods to use on your site these days to not need to depend on AdSense.

Don't know what happened, but i only had adsense for about 2 weeks, accumulated $50,
woke up one morning to check if any clicks were
made and received the big cancellation notice,
    ive placed it below.
I think that totally sucks, I didn't do anything, i get payed much more than what adsense pays so i don't have any reason to click my own ads.
The benefit i got from the ads was it filled the empty spaces and made my website look ok,
so now i opted for an alternative which is BidVertiser, don't know so far, the ads don't change much.

Hi Jean, sorry to hear about your account closure. Only suggestion I can make is ensure that you comply with every point in their terms and conditions (are adverts distinct enough from the other content on the page, no images placed too near them, they're not hidden on password protected pages, you don't advertise through traffic exchange programs, you have a privacy policy on your site etc), and if you do then try contacting them again and ask them to clarify why. Point out that you use their AdWords system too (if I've read your post right) and threaten to move your advertising elsewhere if they cannot supply you with a straightforward reason.

If you badger them a bit then you may get a response but you really need to ensure you comply with every point set, and they've added a lot in so it's a lot easier for them to pick and choose who to shut down now.
