Gotta say it feels a bit wierd if I put my tongue in the gap! The gum at the back is hard, which I guess it's more than just a gum. It still feels a little swollen, either that or it's just that it feels wierd with my cheek touching the gap left. However, gotta say it was the best option compared to 2-3 trials of root canal by the dentist there (he did offer, I said no!) or the £500 on private! Roll on Wisdom teeth! It's awful when you start to panic in the chair. My heart got a good workout last week when I was having a crown replacement, lol. Every muscle in my body was aching by the evening time, having put it through all that fight or flight. Hope the pain eases off soon. Awwww, I totally understand. It was pretty scary to be honest. I worked myself up before getting in there, he did the filling first and then took the back tooth out. They're both next to each other so at least it only felt like one injection (but was two). However I did panic a lot whilst he was removing the tooth - gave my heart a good workout!
