Buy This, Get This Free

I recently came across an eBook on a subject of one of our product selling sites. It offers resell rights which means I could sell it on the website direct to the visitors. However I also had an idea to perhaps use it in an offer for product buyers. I have a few options availablenn1. Offer it for free with any purchase. The products are priced at $10 each and we make 33% from that (less PayPal charges).nn2. Offer it for free with any purchase over a certain amount. Perhaps try and give a hook to get people to buy two products instead of one, which means double the profit on the product sale.nn3. Offer it for sale on the site (say $10) and offer it at a discounted rate if you purchase a product. This could be done as an upsell.nnOnce the cost of the eBook is covered then any money made from it or because of it is pure profit, so the question here is which is the best method to use to simply gain maximum profit. Personally, going by low eBook sales on the site for affiliate links we have via clickbank, I can't see selling the eBook, or offering it for a discounted fee as per option 3 is going to work. Of course regardless of which option I go for I'll still probably put the eBook up for sale, simply because it's there and I can! So I'm leaning towards option 2.nnAny thoughts on which option you'd go for?

I like option #2 as well. It makes it seem like you are getting more than you are.

Thanks for the input Sara. I think I'm still having doubts as product sales haven't been great on this site as it stands however with a shake up of how the products are offered I'm hoping that to change.
