Yeah, Thule ("too lay" apparently) is the best brand of Rack. The roof rack bit isn't Thule, it's a cheapy brand (can't remember the brand name). But the bike bit is a Thule, hence a bargain at £15.

Ahh okay. I guess if it's a top brand it's going to be everywhere.

I have no idea. It's more like Thule being the only brand I found so far.

That's the second time today I've read about Thule roof racks. Never heard of them before! But then again I used to have a Smart (well still do if anyone wants to buy it!) and that couldn't take a roof rack.nnWhat's so good about Thule?

Damn. I checked out the price of Thule roof racks and cycle carrier the other day and it costs WAY more than £80. :) Nice deal!

Sara, downside to a garage sale is surely less exposure than a car boot sale? Of course I'm just guessing. We don't have a garage anyway :D We do have a fair bit to sell, I need to spend a couple of hours going through it all and convincing Dave of what he doesn't need to hold on to ;)nnGary, £2 for a roof rack is fantastic! I could do with getting one of those. I'll assume you're going further afield with the biking then. We've got a cycle carrier but with all the rain this summer we've not actually used it yet! Really want to go cycling around Snowdonia, or ideally down it ;)

One mans rubbish is another mans gold...nnI picked up a roof-rack and cycle carrier this past week. £2 for the roof-rack. £15 for the cycle carrier. Would have cost me over £80 brand new!

Yeah, in the states they are called trunk sales but I don't see them very often. Garage sales are much more common, but you usually have a lot more to sell than just a few items there.

It came with win95 and it has win98 on it. I've also upgraded the RAM to possibly 64MB from 16MB (I can't remember how much I put in now). I realised it'd be fine for someone to buy say a 10 year old to have a play on, they could do a fair amount on it afterall I used to work on a similar standard machine at University.
