September Earnings

Was away this weekend and out on business yesterday hence the delay on this.nnI was concerned this month as our AdSense was clearly starting to drop slightly due to the AdSense warning we'd had at the end of August, and we had to alter our Ads to display more prominently/differently. In the past couple of months we've made over $200 on one particular site, per month, so seeing a daily income of much less that our $6-$7 average was a slight concern (besides an amazing day where we hit over $10!). In part, our rising AdSense earnings were due to the Link Unit we added back in June/July time. For September we made over $55 on that alone. Clearly a very good choice to add that in!nnSo I'll stop rambling. Earnings are:nPPC : $160.71nAdvertising : $59.17nProduct Sales : $68.71nAffiliate : $44.10nnAnd actually on one day of the month, all 4 categories earnt something which I was pretty chuffed about.nnSo that's a total of $332.69 for the month. Just $5 up on last month (but there is one day less in September!) however I was fearing we'd be back in the $200 region so I'm pretty chuffed with keeping our earnings consistent for the 3rd month running. The next step is to crack $400 for the month, hopefully before Christmas. I've been working on a couple of existing sites for improvements and major enhancements, when I can finally bring all the jigsaw pieces together hopefully things will make a big improvement.nnOnce the AdSense money is in our account my little money meter on the right should look even more healthy at over £1700 / $3400 in the bank.nnHope everyone else did well for the month :)

  1. That are good earnings. Keep in mind that some people cannot even make $10 a month with their websites. Keep up the great work.

  3. Nice Earnings, You seem to be focusing on different sources of income at a time, and I think its great.nbtw, what is the difference between Product Sales & Affiliate Sales? aren't they the same?

  4. Hey Dansko, thanks for your comment. Product Sales are sales of products I either own or resell. The sales where I accept the money from the buyer there and then. It's different to an affiliate sale where I'm simply advertising for another seller and just making a bit of commission. I have no control over affiliate sales (usually) whereas I have total control over product sales.nnSo I tend to keep the separate as when all is said and done I don't have to rely on anyone for my product sales, whereas affiliate sales could stop tomorrow if the companies/sites stopped offering that service.nnHope that makes more sense!
