Typical, after writing a couple of weeks ago about rarely getting ill as we're not exposed to those office germs, typically just a few days after being in the office both Dave and I are ill with a chesty cough, full of cold, headache and sore throat. It's such bad timing with it being Dave's birthday tomorrow and then we promised to take his nieces to the Zoo on Sunday. I'd rather spend the weekend curled up in bed!
Let's hope this goes soon, because I feel pretty naff 
Get thee to thy doctor! There must be something going around these parts as I'm still coughing from a chest infection I was really suffering with just last week. Funnily enough, it was my birthday over the weekend too and even though I was feeling crap I still had to take my nephew shopping at the Trafford Centre.

Hey Will. Happy belated birthday. Sorry to hear you've not been well either. I'll be going to the doctor is this hasn't cleared up by Monday. I have another day (well half a day now) of cold and flu tablets so we'll see. However to be honest I feel like it's getting worse not better

I find that since my late 20's and early 30's (well, now approaching mid 30's but I try and block that out, lol) that my colds and flu have been far worse than when I was younger. Always takes me a long time to get over the common cold – and unfortunately it does tend to get worse before it gets better

Thanks Sam. Must admit, I escaped the whole of last year with no illness really, but this one has really knocked both Dave and I for six. Must be getting old.

My colds are fewer and far between thesedays (touches wood) as I've also moved away from the office environment where illness was often rampant, but I do find that when I do get one it really knocks me out.
