Will, yeah I know but autumn brings the rain too (not that summer doesn't these days!).

Si, if I lived closer to Scotland, or anywhere with a ski resort I'd agree, but we don't get snow here (well not since I've been here, and I think we're too close to the sea for it to be any good!). Although I do fancy trekking up to Scotland perhaps next year for a long weekend if I can't make it to Austria!

Re the back exercises. My Dad suffers from Sciatica so sees a chiropracter for that and he's told me the exercises to do. It's just doing them Although I'm back on the Wii again now so I'll try to add them in every other day.

Goran, I'm sure it's beautiful down there any time of the year! I used to find that with Austria, didn't matter if it was sunny, snowing or rain, it felt so different to the type of weather we get in the UK.

have to agree the weather this summer has been bad. Lets hope the winter is better

Summers not over for me off to Majorca in a couple of weeks for a well deserved holiday

Glad your back pain has sorted itself out. Been there done that… I have some exercises that helped, can scan them in a send them to you, should you wish to do some easy core work.

The past weekend wasn't great. We managed to get a BBQ on the Saturday and sat outside to eat, but it cooled down quite quickly. Sunday was about the best day I think, beautiful sunset up in Peterborough, where we were staying.

Have to admit, it's mad to think a sitting position could cause so much pain, but I guess when you sit in one position and don't move for 4-5 hours at a time it can eventually lead to problems! I just try and move more often now!

The summer has passed by pretty quickly I think, but I have to agree that the weather hasn't been as great as expected. Even the bank holiday weekend was supposed to be sunny while I was in Cheltenham for Greenbelt, but all we got was clouds and the occasional rain!

Good to hear your back is better, I should probably check my sitting positions before I run into trouble myself
