Personally, I'd leave the comment form in view as it serves as a visual prompt to the reader that your posts are open to comments. Hiding the form and putting up the extra barrier (of an extra click) would only make things harder for genuine visitors who might want to leave a comment. The scrolling action works great in FF3.
