We're hoping to not need the pushchair too much for the first year by using a carrier, but getting something reasonably decent to last a few years is necessary, plus I can't see my Mum using the carrier!

It's just annoying how the car seat manufacturers are so inconsistent. We want an isofix base but half the seat manufacturers don't do them, or do one but only for certain seats of theirs! Tis just a pain!

I've not even thought about after the age of 1. Clearly even more to consider and deal with!

Can't help on the pushchair front because I don't use one!

We'll be at the stage of replacing our car seat soon. I want to stay rear-facing as long as possible (see http://www.rearfacing.co.uk/) which adds an extra level of difficulty because most mainstream shops (Mothercare etc) only do limited rear-facing seats :S

Well… I'm sleeping better some of the time (not always though, bit frustrating). Not sure if I didn't pick up my burst of energy when I was last at the docs, as I don't seem to have it!

Headaches are getting less, but I'm still getting them, however they're not hormonal, instead I'm straining my neck in the night and of course paracetamol does nothing for that!

Just trying to cram in as much work as I can whilst I can focus 99%, and realising you need a degree to understand all things babyware such as pushchairs, infact carriers, isofix bases, etc. etc.!

At least the antenatal classes are booked

Eek, that's an unfortunate expense. We've still got to buy mattresses for this crib plus a cradle my brother made which we're getting, so I just hope the baby settles in it. We have been fortunate with everything we're getting lent, as it's mind blowing how much things cost!

I realise now I should have started saving from about the age of 10 to prepare for a baby!
