Google Adsense Referrals II

Following on from my post the other month about the Adsense Referrals and Google moving the goalposts, adding in a 90 day clause which wasn't there when they first set it up…

Well here are some stats for you. I had a referral sign up on November 5th 2005, 90 days later is February 3rd 2006. On 29th January 2006 this referral hit the $100 target. I know this because I know who it is and once I discovered the new clause I decided to take a closer look.

What does this prove? Well that Google has had someone sign up through my account (okay they would have signed up anyhow but that's besides the point), $100 has been earnt just within the allowed time limit, which was only brought in as a condition 2 months later, and Google's not paying my $100. It's a lot of money to not receive when you're due it. All payments are in the banks now from February, so I know the referral meets all criteria
- earnt $100 within 90 days
- eligible for payment

So where's my money?

    The plot thickens…

Seems like Adsense have raised the limit to 180 days which includes anyone who signed up from up to before 180 days ago (which considering the referrals scheme hasn't been running that long kinda means everyone!).

    So where's my money?!!

Yes Oli, I could contact them but I don't think they want to hear that I know the person who signed up etc because then they could come back and class it an invalid click knowing them. I'd rather keep my adsense account than risk losing it.
