Spare Domains

I've been buying domains in bulk since 1999. I've got stacks of domains gathering dust in various accounts, where I've had ideas of building money making sites on them but never gotten around to it. After having a thought I've decided to set the domains up that I won't have time for over the next 6 months or so on Sedo Parking where you can park your domains and earn money off their Google adsense (so no risk to your own account as I still don't see how they can get away with the system!). You can also allow people to make offers on purchasing the domain if you want to see what you may be able to sell it for. Afterall, everyone has a price :)nnSo I've put 6 domains up, however none are in Google (yet). If anyone's interested they are:nhttp://www.cardifftakeaway.co.uknhttp://www.cardifftakeout.co.ukn(Yes very targetted, but I had big plans with them when I lived in Cardiff!)nnhttp://www.ezphotos.co.uk - I'm sure this used to be in Google or some search enginesnhttp://www.freelancersuk.com Gonenhttp://www.find-ebooks.co.uknhttp://www.fastfooddelivery.co.uknnEvery domain had a plan, but so do others which I think will take less effort and produce a better income if they work. Of course no longer living in Cardiff means the first two are pretty irrelevant to me now! I'm hoping after this post (yes they're linked for a reason!) the domains may get picked up in Google. The photos domain seems popular right now but I guess the others are too targetted to generate much interest.nnThey're just a handful for now. I have to get my hands on the other 20 or so sitting in another account and decide which ones I've not got time for right now.

  2. Hmm, I have hundreds of domains I had plans for. Sadly I have less time than I have ideas!

  3. Yeah I know the feeling. I have domains registered 6-7 years ago now that are still not doing anything.nnI'm now running a few domains on Sedo and a few others on NameDrive as the latter gives a choice of design and layout. Not made anything major yet, but any money is more than would be earnt sitting in limbo!

  4. Likewise here! Of my (currently) unused domains, I'm finding that I'm more likely to keep hold of older domains simply because it's easier to get them on the side of any aging factors. I once offered up my unused IMF domain, was unsuccessful, turned it into a blog and now it's too valuable to give up!
