Top Day for Adsense
June 22, 2006 – 10:09 pm
Yesterday the visitors for the Tattoo site topped 500 for the first time, and this increase of visitors also meant almost 100% increase in clicks, giving us easily 3 figures in clicks. The final total for the day was just over $7 which is great as this is double our usual average, however for the amount of clicks we get it's still pretty appalling as it could be around $20-30.
Today's also looking quite good so perhaps the end of the month figures will be up to last month, as the first half of this month has not been as good as last month. Still $7 a day would be a third of my target of $20 a day, shame we don't get it daily!

Seems like the figures have stayed pretty constant at over $5 per day. We're easily on target for cracking the $100 mark for the site this month!

congrats for your good day. But it seems you have low earnings per click. Maybe you're a victim of Adwords Smart Pricing.

The subject on the site in question is a very low payer. I've done the research on AdWords. That said this month has seen a 50-100% increase in CPC which I'm quite happy with, however I have no disillusions now as to the top limit we can really expect from this site per click. I'm just hoping that an overhaul and rewrite of the text on the site this month will improve it every so slightly more, perhaps to get us to $150-200 a month off adsense.

You can improve your earnings by doing some research. I suggest you read tips at http://www.webmasterworld.com/google_adsense/ , if you not already know about it.

I have done my research. According to the Adwords sandbox (and my adwords account), the top money I can expect for the site's subject is 10-20c per click max (public knowledge from the sandbox). CPC has improved greatly this month and so there will be a limit to what I can do to improve it further.
I used to visit WMW forums however I lack the time to spend the day reading sites so I stick to a select number of forums and blogs so that I don't read all day but actually do stuff too!
