My new PDA

No I'm not taking photos - you can see what it's like from the Original Post. However my PDA is now fully charged and good to go. It was charged within 2 hours yesterday so by 4.30pm I gave up work and started playing! I'd already downloaded a Free Pocket PC RSS reader so once I'd briefly configured the PDA I installed this on there along with the Opera Mobile Browser however this only has a 30 day trial so I'm not sure what will happen in a month but if I have to just use Internet Explorer then so be it. I also then managed last night to crash the whole unit everytime I turned the Wireless on! I think I did something under Terminal Services whilst trying to see if I could use remote desktop. So after resetting it a few times and having no joy I had to do a proper full reset back to the factory settings which meant wiping everything I'd installed that afternoon!!
This morning I started again and put on the RSS reader and Opera. I also tried Adobe Reader for reading PDFs as I have a lot of free chapters or eBooks, however after opening one there was no way I could see the page without having to zoom in and scroll horizontally (to be honest a bit of a blonde moment as I don't know why I thought it would be fine!). I decided then that for the time being it's just not worth trying to read PDFs on there and I'll stick to RSS feeds, which to be fair are far more up todate anyhow! Plus Acrobat crashed the unit too (luckily a quick reset fixed this) so I've removed it again.
I've got my email working on it too along with a few tasks, and have it synchronised with my Outlook Calendar and will put my contacts on there once they're up to date on the PC. So I'm almost there, all I have to do now is re put in all my RSS feeds (manually) again!! At least at night it'll give me a chance to catch up on reading the feeds I don't read so often (and should) during the days.
Anyhow, Dell Axim - definitely worth the money ![]()
