Hacking Code
Fri, 18 August, 2006 – 10:55 pm
For anyone who looks on the front end of this site, which collates all my four blogs, they'll notice I've been hacking some PHP code tonight to produce a few additions.
Now the front end tells you the categories the post was posted in, along with how many comments the post currently has. So essentially similar to that of a normal blog. I've also added the 10 most recent comments across all of the blogs as well. I may extend this to 15 or 20 - what do you think?
Anyhow, hope the new front end is better ![]()

Nice one, liking it, for us old gits who use livefeeds so still see the site design

Heh, I'll stick with the feedreader
Still am quite chuffed I got it all working, and it makes the site look pretty busy. The next step would be to put a search on it, but that would only be for the posts since I started the front end, and not the rest, unless I put up 4 search boxes, one for each site! However I think it does enough otherwise, and my posts are all pretty well categorised.
Any other thoughts are welcome however, and I'll have a bash next weekend
