Web Stats Analysis

The company I contract for is going through a restructuring process and splitting up into subsidary companies. This of course means a major overhaul of the websites and essentially creating 4 new websites (in 6 weeks - like I don't have enough to do!). After a meeting yesterday in Cardiff my boss (CEO) said he wanted top notch statistic reporting and analysis… on a daily basis. I could do it but I'd do nothing else! So I've been looking at web analysis sites.
When I say top notch it needs to be able to say Visitor A came in via the parent company web site but went to site B and then signed up and sent their CV in, or alternatively exited at page such and such. Ned Stat is a company I've seen and read about for years and so after a good look on their site it seems they can cover everything I need. The added bonus is they can possibly cover media/video stuff as well which could be handy as my boss is in love with flash animation or video and unfortunately all 4 sites are going to have a splash page (I gave up trying to put him off the idea) - hopefully the stats will show that they're losing more visitors than the animation is worth!
Anyhow, I've not contacted Ned Stat yet so if anyone knows of anything else that can perform top end tasks and visitor tracking, plus graphical reports (Google Analytics doesn't do what I need in total before anyone mentions it as I have that running already!) please let me know. Otherwise I'll be giving Ned Stat a call on Monday and see how much of my boss's money I can spend! As sad as it sounds it'll be quite fun to play with the software and see how powerful it actually is ![]()

I would check out http://www.tracewatch.com/ - I have this on one of my sites and it's pretty good for real time visitor tracking. All my other sites use Google Analytics which is VERY powerful (if a little inaccurate at times)
Hope that helps

Cheers for the link Matt, I'll have a look at their demo tomorrow and see if they can cover what I need.
