New Template

If you're visiting my tech blog you may notice a new design on the site. After just having a look through the WordPress themes I noticed it and figured it was time for a change. I'm quite liking this theme despite the code being a bit horrendous, however I can fix that up with a bit of help from Dave.

I'll be working on it as and when I have the time, adding more bits in. Then I'll probably port the same design over to the front end of my web site. However, for now, it's time to sleep.

  3. Thanks Sam :) Still a few bits to do when I get the time. At least it all seems to be valid, so just some tidying up of the slightly bloated code, a few extras added in and I'm almost there :)

  4. As you can possibly see, I've had a productive day of not doing work and fixing up the new design. I'll go more indepth in what I've done. It's on the frontend too now. Just now to add it to my AIS blog. Keep the whole site looking the same :)

  5. Hehe, finding new themes and tailoring them to our needs certainly passes the time away. Your change of template inspired me to upgrade to v2.1.2 of WP and find a new look. Still not having the best of luck with setting up the widgets at the moment.

  6. Haha, glad to be the inspiration for spending the day playing with designs and not actually working!

Hope you get your widgets sorted. Give me a shout if you need a hand :)

  9. Just clicked your profile www link, and I think your new site is very good. Looks very professional and the theme style and colours look very cool.

  10. Cheers designer :)
I wish I could take credit, but besides a bit of shifting around and altering a few graphics (which I didn't even do that as I don't run image editing software!), the original can be found at http://www.kapikua.com/theme-leia/

Still I like think I made it my own ;)
