Site Owners, Please Design for Non IE Users!

Gotta say, I'm a bit fed up with some site designers/developers on some of the sites I use. I hate popups at the best of times and prefer to have control of my own browser, its tabs and windows, however I can appreciate that some people would get confused and/or lost if you open help links in the same window as the page you're on (plus it'd be annoying if you lost whatever you were doing). So I'll let the popup window slide when it's used for a useful purpose.

However… it's not useful when the popup opens, only half the text displays and the developer has set it (via JavaScript) so that you cannot resize the window (see below for example from FeedBurner). These types of windows work fine in Internet Explorer as they're usually designed to resize to fit the content, but that type of JavaScript doesn't work in Firefox, so instead we're stuck with a window that obscures half the content as it takes the width and height specified by the code instead.

This could be overcome quite easily, and still be kept with the fancy 'fit' for IE users, by simply adding the facility to be able to resize the window as well. Considering the amount of Firefox users there now are, plus this figure continuing to rise, surely the site developers could make this little extra addition? Besides the fact that it creates a non accessible window ;)
